1.1. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern the relationship between the developer of PolyFlow ("we", "the Service", "the App") and the user ("User", "you") arising from the use of the PolyFlow mobile application and associated web services.
1.2. PolyFlow is a language learning companion app designed for tracking your progress in learning foreign languages, gamifying the study process, and providing personalized recommendations.
1.3. By creating an account or using the App, you confirm that you are at least 13 years old and agree to these Terms in full.
2.1. Full access to the App's features requires authorization via a supported authentication method (such as a Google account).
2.2. You agree to provide accurate information. We use data from your chosen authentication provider (e.g., name, email, profile photo) to create your in-app profile.
2.3. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activity that occurs under your account.
2.4. Creating multiple accounts to gain unfair advantages in leaderboards or to circumvent bans is prohibited.
3.1. The App offers basic functionality for free. Advanced features (unlimited language additions, AI-powered recommendations, ad-free experience) are available through a PolyFlow Premium subscription.
3.2. Subscription payments are processed through the respective app stores (Google Play, Apple App Store) and are subject to the terms and policies of those platforms.
Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time through:
If a free trial is offered, it will automatically convert to a paid subscription at the end of the trial period unless you cancel before the trial expires.
Refund requests are handled by the respective app store (Google Play or App Store) in accordance with their refund policies. We do not process refunds directly.
The App includes a virtual currency ("gems") that can be earned through activities or purchased. Gems have no real-world monetary value and are non-refundable. Gems may be used to purchase in-app boosts and participate in challenges.
When using the Service, the following actions are strictly prohibited:
5.1. The App provides messaging features that use end-to-end encryption. You are solely responsible for the content of your messages.
5.2. While we cannot read encrypted message content, we reserve the right to take action (including account suspension) based on user reports of abuse, harassment, or policy violations.
5.3. You retain ownership of any content you create or share through the App. By sharing content, you grant us a limited license to display it within the App as necessary for the service to function.
6.1. All content available through the PolyFlow service, including design elements, text, graphics, illustrations, software, databases, and other materials, are the exclusive property of PolyFlow or its licensors.
6.2. Use of the App's content is permitted only within the functionality provided by the Service. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer any part of the App.
7.1. The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We make no warranties, express or implied, that the App will meet your expectations, that language learning will be successful, or that the service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free.
7.2. We are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use the Service.
7.3. AI-generated recommendations are produced automatically and are advisory in nature only. We make no guarantees regarding the accuracy or suitability of AI-generated content.
8.1. You may delete your account at any time via Settings → Delete Account. Upon deletion, we will delete or anonymize your personal data, except where retention is required or permitted by law, or reasonably necessary for security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, or operational backups. 8.2. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, without prior notice and without liability.
9.1. These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes arising in connection with these Terms shall be resolved through negotiation first. If a resolution cannot be reached, disputes may be submitted to the competent courts.
9.2. If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
10.1. We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated through the App or via email. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
